BIG'S RENTAL POLICY (and some rules...)
DRIVING: In Antigua we drive on the left side of the road
DRIVER'S LICENSE: You need a valid driver's license and a picture identification (usually passport or ID card).
With them you can buy an antiguan temporary driving permit that is valid for 3 months. Big's is able to release the temporary driving permit and it will cost US$ 20.00.
PAYMENT: All major credit cards are welcome to book the vehicle. The card is charged for the projected amount plus the deposit for insurance at the time of rental. The deposit
less additional charges, such as missing gasoline, is refunded at check-in.
AGE: You must be at least 23 years old.
CONDUCTORS: Nobody else can drive the car unless they meet all regular rental requirements and are listed on your rental agreement form upon rental.
CAR RETURN: Cars must be returned to the office of the car rental or an approved dropoff location at the Airport.
TAXES: Rentals are subject to local taxes of 8%.
RESERVATION TIME LIMIT: Reservations are held for one hour past the indicated arrival time but no later than normal closing time of rental office.
Customers should call rental office to change time of arrival.
